A lot of rumors are swirling around Juventus this week, two of them appearing to be quite credible. Centering around two players, both possibly headed to the English Premier League by the end of the season.
Firstly, former Arsenal player Aaron Ramsey will likely go back home at the start of the year, or at least back to the EPL. According to the latest gossip, Juventus is unlikely to pursue any form of contract extension for the midfielder. Ramsey spent almost three years with the Bianconeri, but the club seems uninterested in him going forth.
The heavy £400,000 weekly check Juve has to cut Ramsey is likely the reason the Turin club will be looking to offload the Welsh during the January transfer window. Reports indicate that Juventus is even willing to let the player go for free.
The most likely destination for Ramsey appears to be Arsenal, where the midfielder spent 11 years, four of those playing alongside current manager Mikel Arteta.
Meanwhile another midfielder, American Weston McKennie, is also rumored to be heading over to the UK. McKennie, who joined Juve from Germany’s Schalke 04 last year, has been deemed transferable and Juventus have already slapped a €20 million price tag on the 23-year-old, who has netted two goals in 9 appearances for Juve this season.
The gossip around Allianz Stadium points to Antonio Conte possibly poaching the young player as he attempts to bolster Tottenham’s midfielder during the upcoming transfer window.
