Chiesa out for the year, McKennie to return soon

Juventus winger Federico Chiesa will miss the Bianconeri’s matches until the end of the year, the club confirmed.

The reason is an injury in the left thigh, which the Italian national received in the 0- 1 loss to Atalanta. He will not be available for the matches against Salernitana, Genoa, Malmö, Venice, Bologna and Cagliari.

He may be ready for the clash with Napoli on January 6.

His teammate Weston McKennie also left last game with an injury. The club clarified that there are no serious injuries in his right knee and so his condition will be monitored daily.

For McKennie, it should be a small thing,” Allegri said at a press conference. “But Chiesa is already writing a letter to Santa Claus. We will see him again after the holidays.”

Comments on social media by Juve fans are criticizing the teams performance this season jokingly that they also are writing letters to Santa, but asking for Zidane.
